Master's degrees often include intermediate awards such as a postgraduate certificate (60 credits) and a postgraduate diploma (120 credits). For a full master's degree award, you need to complete 180 credits successfully. This includes the core element of advanced independent work, such as a research project or dissertation.
Methods vary but you'll find emphasis is placed on assignments, essays, case studies and project work and less on formal exams. The final part is usually an advanced independent dissertation or project. Research degrees are offered at master of philosophy (MPhil), doctor of philosophy (PhD), master of professional studies (MProf) and doctor of professional studies (DProf)
Document needed are your scan copies of your School result, Trancscript, University Certificate and International passport copy. Normal minimum entry requirements are a UK upper second class honours degree (2:1) or higher, or an equivalent international qualification, in a subject relevant to the desired subject of research.
Students for whom English is not
the first language should
normally have, or expect to
achieve an IELTS English Language
test score with no individual
grade below 6.5; or 250 in the
computer based TOEFL test and a
score of at least 5.0 in the Test
of Written English.
